Our Story
Established in 1998 in Central Arkansas, The Mackey Firm has grown to over 3,000 clients located in every region of the United States. Clients served include a host of individuals and various forms of businesses including corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, and non-profit organizations. Restaurants, janitorial services, lawn services, doctors, and lawyers are just a few of the types of clients we serve.

As a small business, we understand the obstacles that new and existing small businesses face. As a growing business, we recognize how to help our clients adapt to the changes that surround us all. Our mission is to provide a “boutique” style service, giving detailed attention to each client's specific accounting and tax preparation needs. We believe that the “cookie cutter” approach does not allow clients access to the personalized service they deserve. Our growth is dependent upon continuing to expand our capacity and knowledge to meet the evolving needs of all who put their trust in us.

Accounting
We provide a variety of services from corporate and personal tax preparation, to payroll and bookkeeping. Our experienced staff will listen to and assess your needs to provide the best quality of service.
Tax
Tax preparation is one of the most important aspects of our business. One of the benefits of using an accounting firm is that we'll be around all year for anything you need. Other tax services won't be able to say the same. For some, it's just a season. For us, tax preparation is just business as usual.
Audit Defense
IRS audits can be scary. Audit defense is an extension of the service you receive by default when we prepare your taxes. We help you respond to notices and take the necessary steps to resolve these types of issues.

Through experience, we've gained knowledge far beyond the realm of accounting. CPA Services
There may come a time when there's no way around it; you need a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). We have that covered. A CPA is useful when you need an accountant who can legally represent you before the IRS or if you need the advanced knowledge of an accountant who is required to obtain and maintain a license. Business owners and the IRS agree that a CPA's work comes with the utmost confidence in accuracy and adherence to industry standards.
